Hotel Puerto Valdés is a boutique apart-hotel housed in a historic post-Spanish-colonial building in Puerta de Tierra, San Juan, between Old San Juan and El Condado and one mile from Escambrón Beach, walking distance to the San Juan cruise ship dock. After two years of reconstruction the building was transformed into a high-caliber hotel; the design vision was produced by Italian architect Walter Zaninelli with a team of Puerto Rican engineers and designers. Every room is equipped with a kitchen, Italian furniture, smart TVs and high-quality finishes, and rooms (apartments) accommodate from 4 to 6 guests. The property features a savory Spanish café, a fitted gymnasium, a rooftop Jacuzzi deck and sun-bathing lounge, and the Carnes Steakhouse on the fourth floor.
