Terms of service
These terms cover booking a hotel stay through Stays For Less. By making a booking you agree to them.

Who we are
Stays For Less is a trading name of Alpenglow Holdings LLC, a U.S.-registered company. Alpenglow Holdings LLC operates the staysforless.com booking platform and provides customer support for bookings made through the site. Registered address: 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste N, Albuquerque, NM 87110, US.
Stays For Less is an online travel agency. We sell hotel rooms; we do not run the hotels. The hotel provides your stay and is responsible for it. Room availability and rates reach us through our hotel suppliers.
Booking with us
You book as a guest: there are no accounts. You must be at least 18 and the details you give us must be accurate, including the name of the lead guest, which has to match the ID shown at check-in.
If you book for other people, you confirm that you may do so, you accept these terms for every guest in the booking, and you make sure they know the booking details and the hotel’s rules.
Your booking is confirmed when, after payment, the confirmation page shows your booking reference in the form SFL-XXXXXX. We also email you a copy of the confirmation. It can take a few minutes or land in your spam folder; if it has not arrived, use the form on our Help page (or email [email protected]) with your booking reference, and we will reply with your booking details.
Rarely, our supplier does not confirm a room after you have paid. The page then says the booking is not confirmed yet and asks you not to pay again, and we check the booking by hand. Within 24 hours we email you either your confirmation or to say we could not book the room, and in that case you get the full amount back on the card you paid with.
Prices and payment
- The price is the total for the whole stay, in the currency you chose.
- Taxes and fees are included, except any that the hotel charges at the property. Those are shown separately as “paid at the hotel” before you pay, and you settle them with the hotel.
- If the price changes between your search and checkout, we tell you before you pay and you can choose whether to continue.
- If a price is obviously wrong, for example because of a technical fault or a supplier’s mistake, we may cancel the booking. We tell you as soon as we know and refund the full amount to the card you paid with.
Payment and who you contract with
You book with Alpenglow Holdings LLC, trading as Stays For Less. Your card is charged on a secure payment form provided by our booking supplier, Nuitee Connect (LiteAPI), and processed by Stripe. Nuitee Connect is the merchant of record: it takes the payment, so the charge on your card statement may not read Stays For Less. If you do not recognise a charge, write to us with your booking reference before you contact your bank. We never see or store your full card number.
You are charged in the currency you chose. If your card is in another currency, your bank may add a conversion fee. We arrange any refund with our supplier: it goes back to the same card, in the currency you paid, through the same payment company.
The conditions shown with the rate before you pay, such as the meal plan, the cancellation terms and any taxes paid at the hotel, are set by the hotel and our supplier, and apply to your booking.
Cancelling and changing a booking
Non-refundable rooms usually cost less, and make up most of the rates we show; they cannot be cancelled or changed. Every rate shows whether it can be cancelled before you pay. The details are in our cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.
Hotel stays are booked for specific dates, so the 14-day right to cancel that UK and EU consumer law gives for many purchases made online does not apply to them. Whether you can cancel depends only on the terms of your rate.
At the hotel
The hotel sets its own house rules, check-in and check-out times, and any deposit it asks for on arrival. Bring photo ID and the card or method the hotel asks for. If a hotel asks you to pay for damage or extras, that is between you and the hotel.
Our responsibility
We take care to show accurate information, but hotel descriptions, photos and facilities come from the hotel and our supplier, and we cannot guarantee them. We are not liable for things the hotel does or fails to do. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited.
As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a booking is limited to the amount you paid us for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as missed travel connections. We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us exclude.
Neither we nor our suppliers are responsible for failing to provide a booking because of events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, war, strikes or government restrictions. If such an event affects your stay, we will ask the hotel and our supplier what they can offer, and pass on any refund their terms allow.
If a hotel cannot honour your confirmed booking, what we do is set out in our cancellation policy.
Fraud and chargebacks
We or our payment company may cancel a booking if we reasonably suspect fraud or that a card is being used without its holder’s permission. If you see a charge you do not expect or have a problem with a booking, please contact us first so we can put it right. If a chargeback is raised for a booking that stands, we may ask the hotel to cancel it while the dispute is reviewed.
Your data
How we handle your personal data is described in our privacy policy.

Complaints and the law
If something goes wrong, please tell us first at [email protected] with your booking reference, so we can try to put it right. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, and its courts can hear any dispute. If you live in the UK, the EU or elsewhere, you keep the protection of the consumer laws of your country that cannot be set aside, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
If a court finds any part of these terms invalid, that part is removed or limited as little as possible and the rest of the terms still apply.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. A booking is governed by the terms shown when you made it. Questions: [email protected].
