About this hotel
The Russell is a technology-driven, concierge-less boutique hotel in the heart of East Nashville, housed in a converted historic church. The owners kept many original features — stained glass windows, old brick walls and more — and all 23 unique rooms were curated by one of Nashville's best-known designers, each highlighting the building's history with a modern, contemporary twist and splashes of color that pay homage to the lobby's stained glass windows. Through its Rooms for Rooms program the hotel donates a generous percentage of each night's stay to local nonprofits assisting individuals experiencing homelessness in Nashville; since 2016 it has provided over 16,000 beds and meals through charitable partnerships. Rooms include walls adorned with local art, luxurious robes, a basket of hand-selected local snacks and custom furniture (several headboards are made from the church's original pews). Note: there is no guest elevator, but a dumbwaiter can send luggage to upper floors.
Check-out until 10:30 AM.
